Chicken is a great source of protein and makes for a satiating meal. We personally love chicken but I don’t want to give my toddler the extra doses of masalas we add to our Indian meals. Here’s a quick and healthier recipe I created that your baby will relish and won’t even share!

Prep time: 10 minutes

Cooking time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:

Chicken thighs cut into bite sized pieces-100 grams

Cilantro

Ginger garlic paste- 1 spoon

1/2 coriander powder

1/2 spoon- Turmeric powder

1/2 cup curd

A pinch of cinnamon

Salt to taste

Make a paste of all the ingredients and marinate the chicken in it and keep it overnight or for a few hours.

Method:

In a skillet, add ghee and cook the chicken in it. Don’t crowd the pan, and cook on high flame. You can alternately grill the chicken as well. Turn them in between and let them cook well. Meanwhile, take fresh cream in a bowl and add dry fruits powder and whip it well with a spoon. (This is optional but it makes the meal even more nutrient dense).

Once the chicken is ready and cooled down, add it in the cream and mix well. Garnish with some cilantro and serve.

It can also be added in your cold salad or as a full meal with parathas.
