Sugar free oats Ladoos

by Amrita Saraf / Friday, 28 August 2020 / Published in Food and recipes

Oats are a great source of fibre. Add prunes to it and it becomes a wonderful combination and a natural laxative for babies. Add dry fruits and it becomes a power-packed, nutrient dense snack.

Here is my oats laddoo recipe with just four main ingredients:

Ingredients:

One cup powdered steel-cut oats

5-6 soaked prunes

Dry fruits powder( Almond, cashews and walnuts)

Three tablespoon ghee

Method:

Grind the prunes together to make a smooth paste and keep it aside. Take ghee in a pan and add the oats to it and let it roast well on low flame. Keep stirring so it doesn’t burn. Add dry fruits powder and mix well. Now add the soaked prunes paste( check for consistency of water, laddoos should be dry and not sticky).

Mix them well and let oats and prunes cook together. Switch the gas off and roll the mixture into bite sized laddoo and store in fridge. This recipe makes around 15 small laddoos.
