Kid Friendly Spaghetti Pasta Recipe

by Amrita / Thursday, 31 July 2025 / Published in Food and recipes

Prep time: 15 mins

Cooking time: 5 mins

Ingredients:

  • Spaghetti pasta (I used Wicked Gud, you can use any other brand that offers millet based/durum wheat or semolina pasta)
    Raw garlic
  • Basil leaves
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Olive Oil
  • Some oregano
  • 250 Gms chicken thigh cut into small pieces

Recipe:

Boil and strain the pasta and keep aside

Separately cook the chicken thighs in a pan. Add oil, crushed garlic and the thicken thigh on top. Add some salt. Cook till water dries up. Keep aside.

In a pan, heat olive olive oil.

Once hot, add nicely crushed garlic, let it cook and add well chopped basil leaves. Mix them well.

Add spaghetti pasta on top and mix well.

Add salt and oregano to taste

Now add the chicken on top.

Mix together.

Remove portion for your child and then add chilli flakes for yourself.

Note: You can skip the chicken/replace it with paneer.

Be generous with the oil, garlic and basil leaves as the flavour comes from them only.

Enjoy.
